UV printer, also known as universal printer, can print all kinds of objects, but this function alone is not enough. It also needs stability, that is, the adhesion after printing. Many times, UV printers need to do surface treatment when printing, that is, apply the coating liquid to improve the adhesion, but even if the coating liquid is applied, the ink often falls off. What should we do?

Several possibilities to avoid UV ink falling off:

1. Select the coating solution matching with the printing plate to improve the adhesion of UV ink;

2. For the printing of wiping coating solution, the UV lamp power shall not be less than 80% of the rated power. For individual printing, the UV lamp power shall be adjusted to more than 90% due to the difference of UV ink and ink volume;

3. Most plates should be wiped with alcohol to remove the residual glue, oil stain, polishing wax, protective oil, etc. on the plate surface;

4. The cleaned plate shall be sprayed with spray coating and wiped with clean dust-free wiping cloth to ensure that the coating is evenly distributed on the plate and printed immediately after drying;

5. The wiping cloth shall be changed frequently to keep the wiping cloth clean and free of previous adhesive stains;

6. Outdoor signs are affected by sunlight, ultraviolet rays and wind erosion and rain, which will break the chemical bond in the ink and slowly form pulverization. The weather resistance of different UV inks is different;

7. Some plates contain grease formula in raw materials, which will precipitate grease after storage for a long time, affecting the ink adhesion. Therefore, pay attention to the selection of plates.
