Many people know that the UV ink in the UV printer has photosensitizer components, which solidifies in 0.3 seconds after exposure to ultraviolet light. However, there are two kinds of UV curing lamps used in the UV flat-panel printer, one is mercury lamp and the other is led curing lamp. What is the difference between the two? Now let Fengda UV manufacturer give you a detailed introduction!
1、 Analysis of physical characteristics
Mercury lamp:
(1) The mercury lamp adopts a thermal light source with a certain temperature.
(2) It's a white light.
(3) Its price is cheap, focusing on 500-2000 yuan / piece.
(4) It has high curing efficiency and is suitable for high-speed production.
(5) It adopts air cooling mode.
(6) Its service life is 1000-2000 hours.
(7) Its power is high and needs to be started for preheating
LED curing lamp:
(1) Led adopts cold light source with relatively low temperature.
(2) It is water-cooled.
(3) Its service life is relatively long, generally 15000-30000 hours.
(4) Other prices are more expensive, generally between 5000-20000 yuan.
(5) It uses blue light.
2、 Analysis of advantages and disadvantages
(1) Mercury lamp is suitable for high-speed production and has no specific requirements for product temperature. For example, ceramic tile and glass do not respond to temperature and will not be deformed by heat; LED curing lamp has no requirements for materials, because the temperature is not high, the soft must use LED curing lamp, and the hard is optional.
(2) LED curing lamp is environmentally friendly and pollution-free; Mercury lamp has certain radiation, and there are Mercury and heavy metals. Once broken, it will pollute the environment.
(3) LED curing lamp has long service life, more than 30000 hours and low failure rate; The service life of mercury lamp is short, and the power can not be adjusted in about 2000 hours.
(4) LED curing lamp is energy-saving and low power, but it does not affect the curing effect, while mercury lamp has high power, 1500-3000 watts, which consumes more power.
