Toy UV printers have a long history. In fact, we often call them UV flat-panel printers and universal printers. The difference is that toy UV printers are more suitable for the toy industry, including printing size and height. These are very appropriate for the toy industry. People in the toy industry seem to be very difficult to deal with mechanical failure. They should usually focus on the quality of toys, I haven't seriously studied the UV printer equipment. Here's a summary of the fault causes and solutions of toy UV printer.
1. The printed picture has horizontal lines
a. Fault cause: the nozzle is in poor condition. Solution: if the nozzle is blocked or inclined, the nozzle can be cleaned;
b. Fault cause: the step value is not adjusted. Solution: in the printing software setting, the machine sets the start maintenance flag to correct the step.
2. Large color deviation
a. Fault cause: picture format error. Solution: set the picture mode to CMYK mode, and change the picture to TIFF;
b. Fault cause: nozzle blocked. Solution: print the test strip and clean the nozzle if it is blocked;
c. Fault cause: software setting error. Solution: reset the software parameters according to the standard.
3. The edges of the picture are blurred and ink is flying
a. Fault cause: the picture pixel is low. Solution: for pictures with dpi300 or above, especially for printing 4PT small fonts, the DPI needs to be increased to 1200;
b. Fault cause: the distance between the nozzle and the print is too far. Solution: make the printed matter close to the printing nozzle and maintain a spacing of about 2mm;
c. Fault cause: static electricity in materials or machines. Solution: the machine shell is connected with the ground wire and the material surface is rubbed with alcohol to eliminate the static electricity of the material. Use an electrostatic processor to eliminate surface static electricity.
4. Small ink dots are scattered in the printed picture
a. Fault cause: ink precipitation or ink breaking. Solution: check the status of the nozzle, whether the ink fluency is deteriorated, and whether the ink path leaks;
b. Fault cause: the material or machine has static electricity. Solution: the grounding wire of the machine shell, wipe the material surface with alcohol to eliminate static electricity.
5. Print horizontal ghosting
a. Fault cause: the grating strip is dirty. Solution: clean the grating strip;
b. Fault cause: the grating is damaged. Solution: replace the grating with a new one;
c. Fault cause: poor contact or fault of square head optical fiber line. Solution: replace the square head optical fiber cable.
6. Printing ink dropping or ink breaking
Ink dripping: ink drips from a nozzle during printing.
Solution: A. check whether the negative pressure is too low; b. Check the ink circuit for air leakage.
Ink break: a color often breaks ink during printing.
Solution: A. check whether the negative pressure is too high; b. Check the ink circuit for air leakage; c. Whether the nozzle has not been cleaned for a long time. If so, clean the nozzle.
